Awards

Our group,which was established in 1987,aims to educate the Turkish Cypriot youth in their own folk history,which is such an inseparable part of our culture,and to introduce this aspect of our culture to other nations.
At present our group has over a 300 members in three age ranges (juniors,teenagers and seniors).
Under the rigorous training of our chief instructor,Özlem Kadirağa,The İskele Municipal Folk Dance Group has represented the North Cyprus in international folk dance festivals and competitions.
As representatives of the North Cyprus our group has participated in a number of International Festivals and won top prize in International Competition,
